What Can You Learn From A Little Weiner (dog)?

Hmmmmm... based on that first pic, I have learned that I should enjoy a really good nap in my favorite space once in a while and not care how comfortable I get even if anyone's looking.....

And I have also learned from the "Cookie" how to love and love and never stay mad and be so, so excited about anyone coming in my front door and how it's really good to get right next to someone so you can suck up their body heat and where to find the sun shining in so you can bask in it and ask for whatever smells good in the kitchen. How's that?

1/23/2009 and the weekend events that followed

were just as delightful. Mr. and Mrs. Jake Olsen,

aka, Jake and Arli. How is it that in the blink of

an eye she went from little girl to young woman?

Wasn't it just yesterday we were at the Conyngham

Pool and taking 8 Sherksnas and Thorne children

home to jump on the trampoline?

Love these kids - Love them, love them. Here is one of my favorite girls - Miss Alison, now aka Sister Turberville . She is with Elder Gibbons, who I do not know personally, but he is a good buddy of my son's.

And they sit atop a picture of Elder Adamo, who is also known to us as Chief Rising Fire. Also... near and dear to our hearts.

All 3 and many more just like them are serving missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why? Ahhhhh, because they are good, good souls who feel that now

is the time in their lives to seek those whose tender hearts and minds are ready

to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.
